Has anyone tried the Boots Botanics skincare range? Ive heard quite positive reviews on Boots Botanics skincare range. Has anyone tried any of the products? If so which products did you try and did they work/are they any good?
Thanks Geez a Drink. replied: "Yeah.
I like the rose water toner(smells beautiful, is delicate on the skin and refreshing), and the gel moisturiser (Absorbs really quickly so it's good if you need to do your make up quick. It hydrates well and kept my skin in good condition)
The face mask, however, burns my skin to bits (But i have really sensitive skin)
They have a foam wash that is ok if you aren't wearing make-up.
Smells horrible though." Has anyone tried the Boots Botanics range of coloured shampoo/conditioners? I have tried shampoos for coloured hair before like John Frieda etc.. but they weren't that good! I have light brown hair and was thinking of buying the Boots Botanics Brunette shampoo and conditioner as it looks very dark in the bottle. Are they any good? What were the other colours like, for blonde and for red hair. Thanks x Starshine replied: "Yes i use these shampoo and conditioner for red hair,
they are brilliant, definitely worth every penny..................." What is better, Boots Botanics or Jason products? And if you have tried only one of these products, what did you think of it? Ilovelondon replied: "I know lol"
QUESTIONS replied: "I have looked into both, and in the Boots Botanics products I have seen, there are parabens in the ingredients, whereas in the Jason products, there aren't parabens." Can I use Boots Botanics Cleansing face scrubs everyday? i just bought it and there's no direction for the usage, I guess lilybelle replied: "I wouldn't - you'll skin will become sore. Use it 2 or 3 times a week at most. If you want to cleanse, the botanics cleansing washes are really good (theres a pore perfecting one which I'd highly recommend)."
The Makeup Artist replied: "I use the same one but only 1-2 times a week. Usually on sundays and thursdays, to be exact.
its quite good, the scrub."
UK Missy replied: "It depends on your skin type. As you're a man, that matters too. I'm a beauty therapist and as facialists were trained to properly advise clients on questions such as these.
If you have a drier skin, its recommended you exfoliate using a facial scrub 2-3 times per week, maximum, to prevent dead skin build up and to increase cell turn over. If you have oilier skin (which most men do) I'd reccommend you exfoliate no more than once per week and you will not have as many dry skin cells to remove - the oil produced is self moisturising for your face - and over exfoliating will force the skin to over produce further oil to make up for it possibly resulting in acne and blackheads.
So treat the skin gently and don't over do it. Over use of any such product will also increase the skins sensitivity. Its much better to use a thorough scrub once per week for a couple of minutes, rather than use a mild, watery mass-marketed one every single day.
Hope that helps!!" Does Boots Botanics Golden Glow Body Lotion work well? does it come out as a good tanning color or orange? English Rose. replied: "I havent used it myself, but Botanics products do often work!
here is a review of it
" I tried your Boots Botanics Radiance Beauty Balm. It was FANTASTIC! Why has it been discontinued? Every time I used your Boots Botanics Radiance Beauty Balm everyone said how truly radiant and glowing I looked, and how lovely my skin was. But you've discontinued it - why oh why?!! You don't seem to have developed a similar product to take it's place, and it beat any beauty flash balm I have every tried, including Clarins, Estee Lauder etc. Please can you bring it back? Mistress_T replied: "k then. Know how you feel, stuff like that happens to me all the time."
ρяσ нαιя&вσ∂ιι ¢αяє replied: "lol why are you saying 'you' sorry but i didnt discontue it.
Checked the website yes it has been discontinued, sorry. They do some other products (botanics) that can make your skin shine and glow. Have you tried any of them ?? x
Good Luck, hope you find a good replacment" hi does anyone know where can i buy this facial wash from Boots, Botanics Anti Bacteria face wash?
